FIFA Ranking: November 2009 final preview

Point totals for teams from the top 20 of the October 2007 ranking should be 100% correct. For the others, there's the issue of historical rankings published before July 2006.

Included: matches up to and including November 18th, 2009.

Spain replace Brazil on top of the rankings.
Lots of movement in the top 10, but no new teams. Portugal climb 5 places.

Best movers:

23 - Zimbabwe
21 - Comoros
16 - Slovenia

Worst movers:

-25 - Fiji
-23 - Barbados

16 - Slovenia

9 - Ecuador

Algeria overtake Egypt - they are now the top Arab team and fourth in Africa.

Uruguay now 4th in CONMEBOL, with Paraguay dropping to 5th.

Portugal up to 4th in Europe, replacing England.

Comoros (178th - 180th in June 2007)

Two teams will return to their best ever ranking:

Spain (1st - first achieved in July 2008)
Cameroon (11th - first achieved in November 2006)

Sweden will return to their worst ever ranking - 42nd, first achieved in July 2009.

Three teams will have their worst ever ranking:

Morocco (67th - 63rd in October 2009)
Tahiti (195th - 194th in October 2009)
Andorra (202nd - 201st in October 2009)
