I had to publish an update since there were some errors in the fixtures list available on FIFA.com.

Based on these probable results...

Brazil up to third. Norway up to ninth.

Israel, Afghanistan, Nepal, Cyprus, Turkmenistan and Maldives set to climb 20 or more places.

Northern Ireland, Georgia, Cambodia, Tunisia, Scotland, Iceland, Chinese Taipei and Hungary set to drop 10 or more places.

  2. Just wondering. Is Norway the first team to enter top 10 without participating in any of the three previous tournaments (WC 06, EURO 08, WC 10).

  3. It is an enigma in Israel as to how Israel was capable of reaching the top-15... nobody over here took it seriously. The problem is that the Israelis are extremely inconsistent in performance - and I believe that interferes with the coefficient

  4. It's no enigma. Journalists had to use an Excel file or a pen, paper and calculator and all would have been quite clear.
