FIFA Ranking: March 2011 final preview

FIFA will publish the ranking on March 9th.

FIFA have removed from their list of "A" matches the two friendlies played in Antalya, Turkey on February 9th: Latvia - Bolivia 2 - 1 (1 - 0) and Estonia - Bulgaria 2 - 2 (1 - 1).

Two changes in the top 10. Argentina overtake Brazil for 4th, while Portugal drop to 9th, with Croatia moving up.

American Samoa, Anguilla, Montserrat, Papua New Guinea and San Marino climb 1 place to join Andorra in the 202nd spot.

Best movers:

17 - Equatorial Guinea
14 - Luxembourg
12 - Cambodia and Macau

Worst movers:

-21 - Turkmenistan
-17 - Bangladesh
-16 - Austria

Best movers in the top 50:

11 - Jamaica
5 - Ecuador
4 - Bulgaria

Worst movers in the top 50:

-16 - Austria
-14 - Bosnia-Herzegovina
-5 - Costa Rica

Jamaica rise to 4th in CONCACAF, with Costa Rica dropping to 5th.

Argentina now first in CONMEBOL, replacing Brazil.

Portugal drop out of the European top 5, replaced by Croatia.

Three teams will improve their best ever ranking:

Hungary (36th - 37th in February 2011)
Antigua and Barbuda (101st - 103rd in January 2011)
Cambodia (154th - 156th in July 1998)

Sri Lanka will drop to 173rd - their worst ever ranking. They were 170th in February 2008.
