FIFA Ranking: June 2011 probable ranking

Next update: June 3rd, 2011.

Probable results computed using the Elo Ratings. See the list of results used for this ranking.

Based on these probable results...

Montenegro (up 14 places) replace Uruguay in the top 10... Would you believe it? :) Montenegro have a population of 661807. That would be an amazing achievement for such a small country.

Germany up to 3rd, Brazil drop to 5th, Argentina 8th. New Zealand drop more than 30 places.

  1. And there's Montenegro with the long awaited jump. I can't wait for the reaction to that!

Why are the South American countries taking such a massive hit?

He he. People moan about England in 6th constantly. Now I can't wait to see what they do if England jump over Brazil and Argentina to 4th! I think a while back I jokingly said England were coming for them as they were slowly creeping up on them points-wise, but the gap was still enormous. Never thought it could actually happen though!

I'm sure it will be very short lived though with the Copa America right after.

  2. I guess it's because 4 qualifying matchdays from the 2010 WC qualification are devalued and only replaced by friendlies.
