  1. Could you please explain how you define the last 2 columns?
but I guess that "Minimum points" is considering that a country loses all their (fixed) matches, and "Maximum points" that a country wins them all...?

  2. @Anonymous: Yes, you've got the right idea.

Furthermore, for the "Maximum points" of the teams playing in tournaments, I believe Edgar takes into account not only winning all matches, but doing so against the highest-ranked possible opponents in the later rounds.

  3. @Alex...for "list of results" for Probable Dec Ranking, the final date considered was 14Dec(since 21 Dec ranking will be published)...so my question: Is it standard that fifa consider matches 7 days before of Ranking publish date?? because sometimes they considered match even before 3 days of publish date. Please answer

  4. The official deadline is the Thursday six days prior to the release date (15 Dec in this case). All matches played on or before then will be included.

However, FIFA may sometimes (but not always) choose to additionally include matches played shortly after the deadline, up to Sunday at the latest. For example, they will usually do so when a major tournament final occurs during that weekend (such as the World Cup final of Sunday 11 July 2010, which was included in the 14 July ranking 3 days later).

  5. you can see which matches FIFA will include by checking the matches shown in the calculator...

so for December ranking, they will also include the matches at Dec 17th, cause if you click f.ex. on Oman, then the match against Somalia is shown...
