FIFA Ranking: Greatest upsets (25 November 2011)

Two new results in the top 20: Korea DPR - Japan 1 - 0 (5th) and Oman - Australia 1 - 0 (19th).

There was another upset in October: Wales - Switzerland 2 - 0 - ranked 29th.

Top 20 upsets with two restrictions:

  • only competitive matches
  • losing team must be in the top 20 of the FIFA ranking at the time of the match
Of course, this list only includes matches played after 8 August 1993 - the first edition of the FIFA ranking.
