I've computed the April 2008 through March 2012 rankings with AFC Challenge Cup matches as continental qualifiers.
Looking at the peak for each team in the rankings between April 2008 and March 2012, these are the 20 teams that would have gained the most. 18 of them were involved in the ACC.

can you display those changes in placing to actual points for these 20 teams?
ReplyDeleteI guess it's very difficult to calculate, because:
Deleteif the rank of a country (ranked better than 150) had changed, then the matchpoints of the opponent in the following month will also change... thus the points of their next opponent could also be different etc...
btw. @Edgar:
have you considered these "following" changes in your calculation?
