FIFA will publish the ranking on 19 December.
Probable results computed using the Elo Ratings. See the list of results used for this ranking.
The 2012 CECAFA Cup draw is scheduled for 12 November, thus I couldn't generate the probable results for this competition.
Based on these probable results, Vietnam, Sao Tome e Principe, Cuba, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, and Jamaica would climb more than 15 spots, while Belize, Bermuda, Saudi Arabia, Chad, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Wales, Korea DPR, Curacao and Dominican Republic would drop more than 15 places.
As I mentioned in the preview, Ecuador will improve their best ever ranking - this doesn't depend on the probable results.

Let the fun begin again! England lost tonight against Sweden. Typical Ibrahimovic. Shining in a match that doesn't matter. Looked like a football God tonight, but at the Euro was more interested in talking trash, sneaking a drink from Hart's water bottle, and generally being invisible when there was actual football needing to be played and Sweden's tournament was on the line.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, back to the reason for the post, the fun will begin, because England will climb to 5th despite the loss thanks to Portugal failing to defeat Gabon. If only England could have got a result, Italy lost to France, and England could have claimed 4th with just a draw. Although they would have been sharing the position with Italy.
Seems to be a bad day for big teams. Argentina somehow drew with Saudi Arabia. Germany and Netherlands drew with each other, so of the big boys only Spain get a win.
Of course, everyone's moaning that we (England) are shit again. Even though we had a largely experimental side out that controlled the game for the first 60mins until the team was destabilised with all the subs and Ibrahimovic switched on the magic.
Spain and France, sorry.
DeleteHaiti defeated Guyana 1-0. Their assault on the FIFA World Ranking table continues...
ReplyDeleteLorric,
ReplyDeletea climb for England ?
I still have them at 6th spot with 1151 pts after yesterdays games, although numbers 4 (Italy with 1165 pts) to 8 (Netherlands with 1124 pts) are very close together.
So maybe the fun will not start yet !
To clarify: I meant that Colombia with their draw against Brazil has squeaked in between Italy and England with 1164 pts in 5th spot.
DeleteBtw I saw the first and last 10 minutes of the match Holland-Germany. OK, I know it were not the first eleven that both sides had on the pitch but... what a poor, very poor match-play from both sides. Must be the worst 20 minutes of football I've seen in a long, long time.
Btw2 Brilliant goal from Ibrahimovic, a downright beauty :O
Wow. I never checked Colombia, I didn't think they'd be able to something like that having soared up the table already. They could have gone to 1210 with a win!
DeleteI've heard bad things about Netherlands/Germany. It's Netherlands/Germany! I thought that was supposed to be a big game!
So many underperformances by big sides. I am hsppy with the England match though despite the defeat.
Ibrahimovic would drive me up the wall if he was English or I was Swedish. He's invisible in big games. I'd probably want to slap him if I was Swedish and ask him where was that at Euro 2012. He scored four goals yesterday, just one goal against England at Euro 2012 would have seen Sweden eliminate France and go through.
Although that being said, I've heard Ibra had a good game against France. Sweden were already out at that point. I expect if they could qualify with a win there he would have been invisible again.
Deleteromania a invins aseara. i-ai scazut 5 puncte ca si cum ar fi pierdut. iar belgiei i-ai adaugat ca si cum ar fi castigat.
