- UEFA will choose the July 2015 ranking for seeding
The July 2015 FIFA ranking will include matches played between July 2011 and July 2015. This means we're currently in the 0.5 time frame and things will start to get interesting.
This the July 2015 ranking (for UEFA only) using matches played up to and including October 31st, 2013 and matches scheduled up to July 2014 (only those on fifa.com).
The "0.5" part is computed this way: points gained / (number of matches played + scheduled).
Changes since the last update:
Armenia and Slovenia climb from pot 4 to pot 2.
Moldova climb from pot 6 to pot 4.
England and Netherlands climb from pot 2 to pot 1.
Sweden and Serbia climb from pot 3 to pot 2.
Iceland, Turkey and Finland climb from pot 4 to pot 3.
FYR Macedonia, Azerbaijan and Northern Ireland climb from pot 5 to pot 4.
Croatia dropped from pot 1 to pot 3.
Montenegro, Republic of Ireland and Bulgaria dropped from pot 3 to pot 5.
Portugal dropped from pot 1 to pot 2.
Hungary, Czech Republic and Wales dropped from pot 2 to pot 3.
Norway and Albania dropped from pot 3 to pot 4.
Estonia dropped from pot 4 to pot 5.
Malta dropped from pot 5 to pot 6.
Pot 1: Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Italy, England, Greece, Netherlands, Bosnia-Herzegovina
Pot 2: Armenia, Sweden, Portugal, Ukraine, France, Slovenia, Denmark, Serbia, Romania
Pot 3: Scotland, Croatia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Iceland, Wales, Turkey, Austria, Finland
Pot 4: FYR Macedonia, Slovakia, Norway, Poland, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Albania, Northern Ireland, Israel
