Hello Edgar
ReplyDeleteLibya 508 not 501 in Fifa.com ??
why it is 501 ??
I suspect they use different sources for the ranking section and the results section.
Deletei don't understand why Algeria didn't win any point even that they won against Slovenia.
ReplyDeleteLeopold,
Deletethat is because Algeria got 482,67 matchpoints for that win over Slovenia which is almost the same as their first-year average before the game: 485,61. So after that win their first-year average dropped slightly to 485,32 and their FIFA-points changed from 819,48 to 819,19 => no change in rounded FIFA-points.
Under normal circumstances regarding your own first-year average and the strength of your opponent, playing and winning a friendly will cost you some FIFA-points.
Thank you ED :)
