FIFA will publish the ranking on 12 February.

Only 4 matches left. The final and 3rd place match of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations and two friendlies.

This is how the points and rankings could change for the 8 teams involved:

Despite having 2 continental final tournaments this month, there's no best ever ranking for any of the teams involved. Granted, Equatorial Guinea have equaled their best ever ranking (and best ever move) and could climb higher with a good result tomorrow, but that's about it.

Equatorial Guinea could climb an extra 19 places should they defeat Congo DR. The Nzalang Nacional have equaled their best ever move - 59 places in July 2006.

Gambia (169th) will drop to its worst ever ranking - 168 in October 2014.

Some teams will reach their best ranking in the last couple of years:

Congo DR (at least 53 - 51 in September 2003) - 11 years and 5 months
Mauritania (123 - 123 in May 2008) - 6 years and 9 months
Turks and Caicos Islands (at least 176 - 174 in February 2010) - 5 years

Others will drop to their worst ever ranking in the last couple of years:

Paraguay (79 - 81 in September 1995) - 19 years and 5 months

Korea DPR (152 - 173 in March 2000) - 14 years and 11 months

Honduras (77 - 81 in September 2006) - 8 years and 5 months

Iran will be ranked above Sweden for the first time in the last 9 years and 7 months.

Faroe Islands will be ranked above Qatar for the first time ever.
