Why is there a difference to http://www.world-results.net/uefa/ranking_2015.html ?
ReplyDeleteAxel, the results of the EURO2012 final tournament group stage matches are calculated with a 8000 bonus on the site you mentioned. That's according to the EURO2016-regulations.
ReplyDeleteThat is however not correct as these group stage matches must be calculated with a 9000 bonus (as mentioned in the EURO2012-regulations). You can verify this by looking at the latest intermediate NT-coefficient ranking UEFA published after the matches of June 15th (http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/competitions/General/02/25/84/05/2258405_DOWNLOAD.pdf) where Germany f.i. has 40203 points instead of 43703 + 91772 + 2 * ((40502+9000+20001+42004+41002+43507)/6) = 200814/5 = 40163 according to the site.
Edgar is correct, as usual.

Deletei forward this to world-results
"Edgar is correct, as usual." Although not true, this warms my old heart :)
