AFC MA Ranking update (21 April 2017)

Weighting for the FIFA ranking part of the formula dropped from 30% to 10%. The MA ranking at the end of the club season (November 2017) will be used to determine the slot allocations for the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

FIFA ranking points computed for November 2017, considering scheduled matches as defeats.

See previous update.

Bahrain overtook Jordan, and their champion will play away to the Indian champions instead of Uzbekistan's 3rd team who will host the Jordanian champions.

East

Malaysia closing in on Hong Kong and the coveted 6th place (that grants a direct ACL GS slot). Malaysia were 1.368 points behind in the last update. Now the difference was halved - only 0.662 points.
Singapore leapfrog Myanmar. That's the second drop in as many updates for Myanmar - Philippines passed them in the previous update. Singapore's champions will travel to Philippines instead of Indonesia, with Myanmar doing the opposite. In the AFC Cup, Singapore will play against Cambodia instead of Laos.
