Next in December/January the draw of the qualification for the U-21 EURO 2021 will take place. The host for this tournament will be announced at the UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Dublin on December 2nd/3rd.
This draw will be seeded based on the U-21 NT coefficient ranking.
This coefficient will be made up of:
2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying competition and final tournament (20%)
2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying competition and final tournament (40%)
2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying competition: group stage and play-offs (40%)

There will be two co-hosts: Slovenia and Hungary (neither is a top 20 team). That makes qualification really tough as only the winner in each group qualify with just two second place teams going to the play-off. Moreover, the top three teams in pot 2 ended up in England, Italy, and Germany's groups.
