In the first round the 4 group winners of league C from the CNL 2019 were drawn against the 4 runners-up from the groups in league B. The 4 winners of these first round play-offs are then drawn against the 4 group numbers 3 from the groups in league A.
The 4 winners of the second round join the 12 already qualified teams for the Gold Cup 2021 final tournament.

ReplyDeleteWith Qatar now playing in the 2021 Gold Cup the qualification playoffs have now been redrawn as 3 separate 4 team playoffs in July 2021.
ReplyDeleteThe 14 round 2022 WCQ Octagonal (3rd) stage is now scheduled as 4 triple headers and a double header between September 2021 and March 2022, with the first round (teams 6-35) and second round (teams 6-11) played in March and June 2021.
