Everyone, while there may be candidates to take over the site, I think it might also be an idea to make it a site where multiple people would be able to post, to keep this site alive in that way. I myself work out each FIFA ranking each month and compare it to what FIFA comes up with, including yesterday, but I feel it would be too much to take it over myself completely, and I myself have my own software. Perhaps there are others who see this as a joint project that we could work together on? While Ed and I didn't always see eye to eye, we had a lot in common, both being Dutch, both doing a lot with international football statistics as a hobby, and both being software engineers. I also had many a conversation with the previous blogger Eduard (?). I'd also be willing to work on software as I myself have the whole FIFA ranking calculation automated based on my own archive. Anyway, feel free to let me know your comments.

    2. Homer- I'd love to help if you're interested. Ed helped me with a lot of info that got my blog off the ground, and I learned a lot about forecasting from him, and I do a lot of modeling now. I think I could publish similar models in the spirit that Ed did. Margot, if you read this, I'm terribly sorry for your loss. Thoughts from Alabama
